Lamb set to get ball tomorrow in Kinston, NC…
John Lamb will get his first start on the road in the Carolina League tomorrow night in Kinston, NC against the Cleveland Indians High A team.
Hope the Wilmington Blue Rocks can snap out of their recent losing streak by evening up the series with the Kinston Indians. Game time is set for 7:00pm EST in the 2nd oldest stadium in the Carolina League.
The Lamb family is looking forward to his 11th start of the 2010 minor league season. Home games are nice, but starts on the road can be special and we’re eager to hear the game’s radio broadcast on the Blue Rocks site.
The most recent perfect game in professional baseball was done on the road in Florida by some guy in a Phillies uniform named Roy Halladay. Only the 20th time this amazing feat has been accomplished at the Major League level.
Congratulations Roy Halladay!
GO BLUE ROCKS!
