Historic game at Arvest Ballpark
Springdale, AR – The September 13, 2010 game at Arvest Ballpark can have historic value for the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, Texas League affiliate of the Kansas City Royals organization. First pitch by Naturals starter, Michael Montgomery (- , -.–) against Trey Hearne (- , -.–) of the Springfield Cardinals, Double-A team of the St. Louis Cardinals, can also be heard on ESPN, 92.1 The Ticket at 7:00 CT.
The Lamb family will be tuned in for the game in hopes the Naturals can continue their season quest for a Texas League championship. The Cardinals, I’m sure, are hoping to spoil the historic franchise opportunity for the Naturals. I know we’re not alone supporting the team to extend the season for another series against the Midland RockHounds, Double-A affiliate of the Oakland A’s.
I don’t know how many games you listen to on the radio, or Internet, but there is a very good possibility the Naturals can make a little history tonight. Sure, games are played all year-long in professional baseball and the most have much more personal significance toward a player’s development. Nothing compares to the value of winning during the learning process and this Naturals team can to be the first in Northwest Arkansas franchise history at winning a Texas League championship.
GO NATURALS and make history tonight at Arvest Ballpark.

Looks like John could get another start this year, I’m sure it’s a blast and can’t wait until he and the rest of the youngsters do this on the big league level!
