Naturals WIN Texas League

September 19, 2010

Laguna Hills, CA – The Northwest Arkansas Naturals won the Texas League title Saturday night against the Midland RockHounds by a final score of 2-0.

Rather than babble through my current state of exhaustion from a very long day of travel back home, I will simply share the fact that many Kansas City Royals fans, players, coaches and staff should be smiling over the Double-A affiliate success during this most recent season.

Collectively the Lamb family feels very fortunate to have John Lamb experience the taste of victory during the early stage of his professional baseball career.

I will post a little more very soon associated with Saturday night’s victory to capture the Texas League crown.

      Drew,

Thanks for supporting John during this blessed season. So far…nothing has been set for the lefty during the fall and winter months, other than continued off-season work to prepare for next Spring training.

    James,

I just found this site and had to read all the post about John, you did a fantastic job im very impressed. Love to see your dedication to Johns career, its improved every year from when we were very little. Hope you keep up with the hard work and posts in many years to come. Glad to hear that you and your family got the opportunity to see John in that kind of atmosphere kinda bummed I missed it:( I know John has always wanted the rings and how much it meant to him. Very happy he had the chance to get one at the level that he is at. Im very proud of him as a past teammate and a friend. You did a great job throughout the years putting a positive impact on his life as well as mine. Cant wait till 2011. Hope to hear from you soon.

    Johns #1 fan(besides his family)
