Only four more
Laguna Hills, CA – Some of you might think of only four more teams left for the Super Bowl bid, but actually I mean only four more days tell the Kansas City Royals Fan Fest in Overland Park, KS. My son John Lamb and his fellow teammates within the Kansas City Royals organization will be on hand to celebrate the fans and honor a few of their own for this past season. I would imagine that most, if not all, the big leaguers, management, staff and personnel within the Royals professional baseball family will be accessible during this fan friendly event.
Thank you for the large number of messages about my personal physical challenges, but the daily news continues to remind me of all my personal blessings and the tremendous despair that plaques our country and world. Our regions mid to upper 70 degree temperature is prime example of just one fortune.
Professional baseball continues to offer many opportunities to my son both on and off the field and our family must reinforce our gratitude. Not much to report that hasn’t already been announced thru the many streams of media during this time of the off-season for a professional baseball prospect. Teams continue to make moves towards the goal of the organization and there is really no need to be concerned about those things that can’t be controlled. The Royals have every reason to be optimistic about the immediate future of the club.
We are obviously extremely proud of John Lamb and his inclusion in the festivities during this coming Friday and Saturday. The Lamb’s would like to congratulate all those in attendance and hope that the fans enjoy the event.
Good luck Royals during the 2011 season!

If you’re coming in for FanFest, you’re in for a shock after your steady diet of upper 70s weather. I suggest packing snow boots and winter coats! We’re expecting about 8″ of snow today and temps below zero overnight the next few nights.
GLP,
Thanks for the warning. No need for the boots since I rarely leave the warmth of the hotel and event. If you are coming Saturday try to reach out and say “hi” at some point…I plan on wearing a black sport jacket tomorrow with gray pants.
